Our Popcorn Journey
In 1980, Efraim and Sarah Schvimer turned a joke into a dream. With a single popper on their kitchen table and a blessing from their rabbi they created Golden Fluff. Their first bags sold in local Lakewood stores and quickly won over snack lovers across the area.
1982
2nd Street, Lakewood
Production moves out of the apartment into a rented space - the first real “factory,” where the dream starts to grow.
1984
Flavored popcorn takes off
As flavored popcorn became popular across America, Golden Fluff introduced kosher-friendly versions packed with bold flavor.
1986
Moved to 55 Park Ave
The company moved into a larger facility, added new machines, and launched the first Golden Fluff potato sticks.
1993
Kosher Fest debut
Golden Fluff made its first appearance at Kosher Fest, showcasing its growing line of snacks to the kosher community.
2001
Expanded to 118 Monmouth Ave
With demand growing nationwide, Golden Fluff expanded again, producing popcorn, potato sticks, and the first kosher marshmallows.
2010
Kosher Fest award winner
Golden Fluff won "Pop it and snack it all you want" — a moment that celebrated decades of dedication to quality and creativity.

Our new state-of-the-art facility
A new 90,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility is being built with advanced production lines and a viewing balcony for visitors.
