HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
Golden Fluff began its humble beginnings in 1983 in a small 600 square foot storefront on Second Street in downtown Lakewood, NJ. After having studied for numerous years in the world famous BMG kollel in Lakewood, Ephraim Schwinder, Golden Fluff’s president and founder discovered an untapped niche in the kosher market by mass producing pre-popped Kosher Popcorn in family and snack sized packages. That small operation was the kernel of what would someday grow into a large company called “Golden Fluff”.
GOLDEN FLUFF BEGINS ITS EXPANSION…
As sales grew, the company moved to a larger 3,000 square foot building. The product line gradually expanded to include Potato Stix in a variety of flavors, “Nuts Galore,” a line of premium quality nuts both of the snacking and baking variety, and its still current best-seller, Enchilada and BBQ flavored Tortilla Chips.
In 2001, Mr. Schwinder’s son Shlomo joined the business. Having again outgrown their building, Golden Fluff moved their manufacturing operations along with their sales and administrative staff to its current 20,000 square foot location at 118 Monmouth Ave. With ample room for growth, Golden Fluff further expanded its lines to include Corn Dips, Onion Rings, Potato Chips, bottled water and its bestselling “Fun Drinks”, a line of kid-friendly flavored guzzler drinks.
NUTS AND CANDY....
Golden Fluff also expanded its Nuts Galore line to include a “Candy Galore” line which features a delightful line of confectionary items ranging from its best selling Super Sour Bears and Worms to Chocolate Nuts and lentils to a large variety of Kosher Gummy Candy.
HEALTHY….
For the health and diet conscience, Golden Fluff has a variety of products such as our premium popped white Light Popcorn, “Baked” Not-fried Potato Chips with only 1.5 grams fat per serving and sugar-free Sweet and Low candy in a variety of flavors.
ALLERGENS…
For those with allergen concerns, we have listed on all our products which ones are Gluten Free, Nut Free, soy free and no MSG. Click on one of the allergen tabs, and you will be provided with a complete list of all products which are free of that allergen.
PASSOVER…
Golden Fluff maintains a very strong presence on the Passover scene selling to many national supermarkets nationwide, and to many overseas kosher markets as well. Click on the Passover tab to see our wide range of Passover products.
KOSHER…
Golden Fluff adheres to the highest kashrus standards. Their products are under the strict kashrus supervision of Lakewood’s own distinguished Dayan, Rabbi Mordechai Betzalel Klein, as well as the KCL (Kashrus Council of Lakewood) and the OU.
KOSHER KITCHEN ESSENTIALS…
Golden Fluff also distributes the Mark-it International Kosher Kitchen essentials. This line is a must have for the kosher kitchen with all sorts of kitchen products from sponges and brushes to spatulas and peelers. Each item is available in three colors. Red for meat products, blue for dairy and green for pareve. No more kitchen confusion!
